This is a really insightful piece Katie. I think you are right though that it is better to just do your own thing for now and if something happens great; if not, you've still got all the work you've done. I've seen your new pics too and you are a pretty and smart lady.
I'm a guy and I can tel you there are some good ones out there. I showed this to my wife and she said she totally agrees with your perspective. I feel really lucky to have her. You also make me laugh!
